WHERE WOMEN RISE.

WHERE WOMEN RISE.

CLASSES & FIRST TIME QUESTIONS

  • We offer 45 minute strength training classes that are catered to women at every stage of life. Every class focuses on safe, effective lifting with clear cueing and approachable progressions. No program is the same, so you will always experience fresh, intentional training blocks that support long term strength and avoid repetitive burnout.

  • Not at all. Our classes are designed for beginners through advanced lifters. Your trainer will offer options that match your experience and comfort level so you can move safely and confidently.

  • We provide all the necessary equipment for our classes, including a range of light to heavy weights, benches, mats, sweat towels, and more. Just bring yourself, your workout gear, closed-toe shoes, and a readiness to push your limits!

  • Flat, stable training shoes are strongly recommended. They provide a solid base for lifting and help with balance, alignment, and lower body power. Running shoes are not ideal for strength training because their soft, elevated soles create instability under load.

  • We designed our classes to be 45 minutes so that every second counts. Instead of setting aside time for cardio, we focus the entire session on purposeful, high-quality work with suggestions and space to stretch after. From the moment class begins, you’ll be fully engaged in strength-building exercises, making the most of your time for an efficient and effective workout. Warm-ups and cool-downs are encouraged, but can be done on your own, allowing you to focus entirely on the workout during class.

  • A full stretching routine is its own structured workout and requires focused time, breathing patterns, and intentional sequencing to be effective. A quick stretch at the end of class would not provide meaningful benefits. Our priority in forty five minutes is to deliver a complete strength session with smart progressions and safe form. You are welcome to stretch before or after class at your own pace.

  • We do not offer open gym access. All training at Roar is structured, coached, and designed to support safe form and consistent progress.

  • This depends on your goals and schedule. Many clients train three to four times per week, but two classes a week is a great place to start. Your trainer can help guide you. Additionally, we encourage you to seek movement outside of our sessions, whether it’s going for a long walk, trying a different fitness class, or engaging in other physical activities to complement your training at Roar.

MEMBERSHIPS & PACKAGES

  • Packages give you a set number of class credits that you can use at your own pace. They are valid for one year from the date of purchase.

Memberships provide a set number of classes each month at a lower cost per class and are designed for clients who want routine and consistency. Unused credits do not rollover.

  • All class packages are valid for one year from the date of purchase, giving you plenty of flexibility.

Note: First Timer Three Class Packages expire 45 days from activation.

  • Membership credits do not roll over. The lower membership pricing is designed to support steady, consistent training across each month. We want you to use your classes, feel the routine build, and see progress from showing up regularly. Your membership renews every 30 days, so each month is a fresh start with a new set of classes to use.

  • Beginning in 2026, all memberships include a 3 month minimum commitment. This structure helps us keep pricing stable, protect access for members, and support the kind of consistent training that memberships are designed for.

    Not applicable to packages.

  • All clients, both package holders and members, must cancel at least 12 hours before class. This gives us time to offer the spot to someone on the waitlist and keeps things fair for the whole community.

  • If you cancel inside the 12 hour window or do not show up using a package, you lose that class credit. There is no additional fee, but the credit is not returned.

  • Memberships include extra benefits and lower per class pricing, so they also follow a more structured system for last minute changes.

Each membership includes a set number of automatic courtesy late cancels or no shows every 3 month period, based on the membership start date. These courtesies provide some grace for unexpected schedule changes. Once the courtesies are used, any late cancel inside 12 hours of class start time is subject to a $10 fee, and any no show is subject to a $15 fee. For class based memberships, the reserved class credit is also forfeited.

This structure helps keep memberships fairly priced, encourages consistent attendance, and protects access for members who are regularly showing up and booking spots they intend to use.

  • Late cancel and no show fees are in place to keep access to classes as fair and consistent as possible. Many Roar classes reach capacity, and when a spot is reserved but not used, another member often misses a chance to attend. A structured fee system, along with built in courtesies for unexpected events, encourages members to book classes they intend to take and to cancel in a timely way when plans change. This approach helps keep memberships fairly priced, supports predictable staffing and scheduling, and protects access for members who are regularly showing up.

  • Booking windows depend on the option you choose.

    • Class packages and drop ins: You can book classes up to 7 days in advance.

    • 8 Classes per Month membership: You can book classes up to 7 days in advance.

    • 12 Classes per Month membership: You can book classes up to 8 days in advance, giving you a full extra day to claim your preferred class times before non members.

    • Unlimited membership: You can book classes up to 10 days in advance, which offers the longest booking window and the most flexibility in planning your week.

  • You can request a membership freeze once per quarter, for a minimum of 7 days. Freezes are intended for things like travel or short term changes in schedule, and help you pause briefly without losing your spot in the community. If you find that you need more frequent or longer freezes, a class package may be a better fit than a membership since we are not able to freeze accounts constantly. To request a freeze, please email info@roarsf.com.

  • All sales are final. We recommend choosing the option that best fits your current schedule so you can use your credits within the given timeframe.

BOOKINGS, CANCELLATIONS, & WAITLISTS

  • All classes must be booked in advance through Momence. You can reserve a spot on our website or through the Momence app by selecting your studio, choosing your class time, and checking out with your membership or class package.

Note: Pre registration is required for every visit. We are not able to sign clients up at the door or before class begins, since this disrupts check in, safety, and flow. Please ensure you have a confirmed reservation before arriving at the studio.

  • We have a 12 hour cancellation window for all group classes. You must cancel at least 12 hours before class start time to avoid any penalties. This helps us open spots for clients on the waitlist and keeps scheduling fair for everyone.

For class packages, a late cancel or no show will result in the loss of that class credit.

For memberships, late cancels and no shows are tied to your membership policies. Each membership includes a limited number of penalty free cancellations per quarter. Once those are used, a late cancel or no show will remove one class credit and add a $10 fee.

  • Life happens, and we do not want anyone to feel punished for true illness or urgent situations. Our cancellation policies help keep the schedule fair, but we are always open to reviewing things case by case. If you are sick or have an emergency, please email info@roarsf.com as soon as you can. We are happy to look at your account and may offer a one time courtesy adjustment when it makes sense.

  • Mistakes happen. Please email info@roarsf.com as soon as you notice the error. We will contact the appropriate studio and do our best to help. While changes are not always possible, we are happy to offer a one time courtesy when we can. All changes are subject to availability.

  • We ask that you arrive a few minutes early so you can check in and settle into your space before class begins. If you are not checked in by start time, your spot may be given to someone on the waitlist. This is for safety and flow, since our studio layout is structured and we cannot have people entering once class has started.

  • We recommend arriving at least three minutes before class begins. If you arrive exactly at start time, entry is not guaranteed and will depend on studio discretion and available spots.

  • If a class is full, you can still select it and join the waitlist through our website or the Momence app. If a spot opens more than 12 hours before class, you will be automatically added and notified by email or app notification. Inside the 12 hour window, you may receive a text or email offering you the open spot. At that point, it is first come, first served.

  • If you are automatically added to class more than 12 hours before start time, the normal cancellation policy applies. You will need to cancel at least 12 hours in advance to avoid penalties. If you are offered a spot within 12 hours of class time, you will not be charged unless you accept it and confirm your place in class.
