WHERE WOMEN RISE.

FAQ

  • What types of classes and sessions do you offer?

We offer a variety of fitness options tailored for women, including high-energy group fitness classes, one-on-one personal training sessions, and specialized clinics focused on lifting techniques and proper form.

  • I’m new to strength training. Will your classes be too advanced for me?

Not at all! Our classes and clinics are designed for all fitness levels. Our expert trainers provide personalized attention, ensuring that beginners learn the basics while more experienced members continue to progress.

  • How do I know if personal training or group classes are right for me?

If you prefer personalized, one-on-one guidance and a customized workout plan, personal training is a great fit. If you thrive in a motivating, social environment, our group fitness classes are perfect. Our clinics offer a focused learning experience for those wanting to master specific skills.

  • What equipment will I need for your classes?

We provide all the necessary equipment for our classes, including a range of light to heavy weights, benches, mats, and more. Just bring yourself, your workout gear, closed-toe shoes, and a readiness to push your limits!

  • How can I book a class, clinic, or personal training session?

Booking is easy! You can reserve your spot for any of our classes, clinics, or personal training sessions through our website or by using the Momence app. Since spaces are limited, we recommend booking in advance to secure your spot.

  • Is your gym only for women?

Our gym is exclusively designed for women to ensure a safe, supportive environment where they can focus on their fitness journey. Our classes and clinics are specifically programmed for the unique physiology of women, and support a variety of life-stages. However, we understand that everyone has unique needs, so if you’re looking for options for men, please feel free to contact us—we’re happy to discuss and provide more details.

  • Why 45-minutes?

We designed our classes to be 45 minutes so that every second counts. Instead of setting aside time for cardio, we focus the entire session on purposeful, high-quality work with suggestions and space to stretch after - if your schedule permits. From the moment class begins, you’ll be fully engaged in strength-building exercises, making the most of your time for an efficient and effective workout. Warm-ups and cool-downs are encouraged, but can be done on your own, allowing you to focus entirely on the workout during class.

  • Do you offer an open gym format?

No, Roar specializes in structured group fitness classes and private training sessions. We do not offer an open gym format to ensure each member receives personalized guidance and support.

  • What is the difference between a package and a membership?

Packages provide a set number of classes that you can use anytime within a year, offering flexibility to fit your schedule. Memberships involve a monthly fee that grants you a set number of classes each month at a reduced rate per class, encouraging regular attendance. Please note, membership classes do not roll over to the next month. You can purchase a package or membership here.

  • How many times a week should I work out at Roar?

We recommend attending classes at Roar three times a week to achieve a balanced workout routine and allow for sufficient recovery. Additionally, we encourage you to seek movement outside of our sessions—whether it’s going for a long walk, trying a different fitness class, or engaging in other physical activities to complement your training at Roar.

  • Can I use the squat racks and barbells during classes?

Currently, our squat racks and barbells are exclusively available for private training sessions. This ensures personalized instruction and optimal use of equipment during these specialized sessions.

  • I NEED TO RESCHEDULE. WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

We require a 12-hour notice to cancel any booking for classes or clinics and a 24-hour notice for personal training sessions. If you cancel within the notice period, the session credit will be forfeited. We understand that life's unpredictable moments can arise, such as sudden illness or emergencies. Should you find yourself unable to attend within this window due to unexpected circumstances, please contact us immediately, and we will work with you to find the best possible solution.
